How do clusters of stars form?

A bunch o' stars being born from the same molecular cloud(s). {Relatively}

Explanation:

Well, often in star clusters, we find that most of the stars are along the same stretch of their lives, and this means that they were most likely born at the same time, and possibly from the same place.

Star clusters form from a huge star forming nebula, or multiple in close proximity. The stars form normally, and their gravity keeps them together for a while. In open clusters, they stray quickly, but in Globular, they stay together longer.

Interesting fact: The Subaru Logo is based of the Pleiades open star cluster in Taurus.
