They differ in their formation process.

Detrital sedimentary rocks are formed from the solid particles or grains which are weathered and deposited.For example Conglomerate , Sandstone
Chemical sedimentary rocks are formed due to chemical processes. For example When Sunlight evaporates the sea water the residue salt is left behind.
Organic Sedimentary rocks
They are formed by the action of organic processes or organisms. For example In Shallow sea waters Dead organisms die and pile up resulting into formation of chalk and organic limestone. Hope this helps thanks
