Excretory products of plants:

  • Oxygen
    It is produced during photosynthesis.
  • #CO_2# and Water
    These are produced during respiration.
  • Organic and Inorganic compound
These are stored for different purposes and are removed when necessary.

Organs used to excrete wastes

  • Leaves:
Leaves are used to excrete wastes. Hence these are also known as excretophores. Plants store their organic and inorganic wastes mostly in leaves. Plants drop yellow leaves(these leaves have pigmented compounds and toxic materials) in the autumn. And eventually, plants get rid of these wastes.
Water is also excreted through leaves by process of transpiration ans also water is stored for maintaining turgor.

  • Stems:
Some trees deposit strange chemicals in the xylem of branches and trunks. These xylems then can't be used fro water transport. This takes place in ebony which is a very dark black wood present in the centre.
Plant psychologists considers that strange chemicals as wast materials.

  • Roots:
Some plant actively secrete waste compounds into the soil through their roots.

  • Vauoles:
Plant cells have large large vacuoles which are used for the storage of both useful and waste substances.

#Note:#
Gases ilke #CO_2# and #O_2# are released through stomata.

Hope it helps...
