multiply the numbers together

$3.2 \times 5 = 16$

Now deal with the powers of 10

${10}^{-} 2 \times {10}^{-} 3 = {10}^{- 2 + - 3} = {10}^{-} 5$

Putting these two together

$\left(3.2 \times {10}^{-} 2\right) \left(5 \times {10}^{-} 3\right) = 16 \times {10}^{-} 5$

Putting the answer into scientific form

$1.6 \times {10}^{-} 4$

Or as a normal number

0.00016
