The Riemann sum should be
Explanation:
Our three intervals will be
#[1, 3]#
#[3, 5]#
#[5, 7]#
Since we are using left endpoints, our sum will be
#=2f(1) + 2f(3) + 2f(5)#
#=2(4) + 2(2) + 2(-3)#
#=8 + 4 - 6 #
#=6#
Hopefully this helps!
