How do you find the domain and range of a function without graphing?

Domain is all real values for which the function returns a real value.
In basic courses, this usually amount to making radicands of even roots positive and getting rid of values that lead to division by `0`

To find the range, find the inverse and then the domain of the inverse. (Dom(`f^(-1)` = Rng`f`)
