How do you find the domain and the range of the relation, and state whether or not the relation is a function {(8, –1), (–8, 1), (6, –1), (8, 6)}?

The domain is simply the x value the first number in the parantheses, and the range is the y value (second number in parentheses and it is not a function
Explanation:
The domain for this would be 8,-8, 6, and 8
The range for this would be -1, 1 , -1, 6
Since there are two ranges (-1 and 6) for one domain (8) that mean's that this is not a function.
if you graphed this function it would not pass the vertical line test because there are two ranges for the domain 8.
