Given -

#y=2x^2-5x+3#

Vertex

#x=(-b)/(2a)=(-(-5))/(2xx 2)=5/4#

At #x=5/4# value of the function

#y=2(5/4)^2-5(5/4)+3#
#y=50/16-25/4+3=(50-100+48)/16=(98-100)/16=-2/16=-1/8#

Vertex #(4/5, -1/8)#
