Multiply the numerators and denominators then simplify.

$3 x \left(x + 6\right) = 3 {x}^{2} + 18 x$

$9 x \left({x}^{2} - 36\right) = 9 {x}^{3} - 324 x$

$\frac{3 {x}^{2} + 18 x}{9 {x}^{3} - 324 x} = \frac{3 x \left(x + 6\right)}{9 x \left({x}^{2} - 36\right)}$

$\frac{x + 6}{3 \left({x}^{2} - 36\right)} = \frac{x + 6}{3 \left(x + 6\right) \left(x - 6\right)} = \frac{1}{3 x - 18}$
