# How do you rewrite the equation for f: r^2 - 5hf = Tf?

Dec 8, 2017

$f = {r}^{2} / \left(T + 5 h\right)$

#### Explanation:

${r}^{2} - 5 h f = T f$

Take the terms with variable $f$ on left hand side and keep rest on right hand side of equation:

$T f + 5 h f = {r}^{2}$------- using rules of transposition.

$\implies f \left(T + 5 h\right) = {r}^{2}$--- take $f$ common from both terms.

$\therefore f = {r}^{2} / \left(T + 5 h\right)$ ----using rules of transposition.

This is the same equation in terms of variable $f$
