The answer is #2#.

Explanation:

We use BODMAS to help solve this. There are no Brackets and no Orders, so we go straight to Division first and then Multiplication, before going on to Addition and then Subtraction. The direction is left to right.

#16-6-:2xx3+5#

From left to right, we first solve #6-:2# which is #3#.

Hence:

#16-3xx3+5#

From left to right, we now solve #3xx3# which is #9#.

#16-9+5#

From left to right, we now solve #9+5# which is #14#.

#16-14#

Finally we solve #16-14# which is #2#.
