Explanation:

First convert both to improper fractions to get

#3/4xx26/5#

Now everything is 1 term so you can cancel out common factors, for example 2 can divide into both 4 and 26. It goes into 2 twice and it goes into 26 13 times. This leaves :

#3/2xx13/5#

Now multiply numerator and denominator separately to get

#39/10#.

This is the simplest form. You may now convert it back into mixed fraction or even decimal fraction form if you wish.

#39/10=3 9/10 = 3.90#.
