Try this:

(notice in line 4 I changed sign and "direction" of the inequality)

You can now check by substituting in the original problem, say $x = 5$ (which is $\ge 4$) to get:
$5 - \left(5 + 4\right) = - 4$ that is indeed $< - 3$
