How do you solve #-7= \frac { 5} { 7} x + 3#?

Bring x to one side and numbers without x to the other(don't forget to change their signs):

# -7 -3 = 5/7x #

Add -7 and -3:

#-10 = 5/7x #

Divide -10 by #5/7#:

#-10 : 5/7 = x#

Remember when dividing the fraction turns upside down:

# (-10 * 7)/5 = x#

#(-70)/5 =x #

#-14 = x#
