Try using a graphing calculator because there is no simple algebraic solution.


When you learn calculus, you will discover approximation techniques such as the Newton-Raphson method to find the solutions to this type of problem.

You can also use a graphing calculator such as a TI-84 and use the intersection feature to get the answers.

The approximate solutions using my TI-84 are:

#x ~= 0.1586#
#x ~= 3.1462#
