Rewrite left side in terms of cosine:
$\frac{1}{\cos} x = - 5$

Rewrite right side as $\frac{1}{\frac{1}{-} 5}$
$\frac{1}{\cos} x = \frac{1}{\frac{1}{- 5}}$

$\cos x = - \frac{1}{5}$
$x \approx 1.772$ radians
