$4x+3y=13$ , $6x+2y=17$

Multiply equation $(2)$ by $3/2$ ,

$=>9x+3y=51/2$

Subtract equation $(1)$ from this obtained equation,

$=>5x=25/2$

$=>x=5/2$

Now anyone can easily solve for $y$ ,

$y=(17-6x)/2=(17-15)/2=1$

So,

$x=5/2$ , $y=1$
