(-4,2); Consistent

When graphing a system of equations, the intersection of the two equations is the solution. In these lines, they intersect at (-4,2) when they are graphed. The same answer comes from solving this algebraically.

When a system has a solution, that system is considered consistent and when there are no solutions (such are when the lines are parallel and never intersect) they are considered inconsistent.
