The solution for the system of equations is

color(blue)(x=5,y=1

#### Explanation:

$- 3 x + \textcolor{b l u e}{4 y} = - 11$....equation $\left(1\right)$

$- 5 x - 2 y = - 27$ , multiplying by $2$
$- 10 x - \textcolor{b l u e}{4 y} = - 54$....equation $\left(2\right)$

Solving by elimination.

Adding the two equations.

$- 3 x + \cancel{\textcolor{b l u e}{4 y}} = - 11$

$- 10 x - \cancel{\textcolor{b l u e}{4 y}} = - 54$

$- 13 x = - 65$

color(blue)(x=5

Finding $y$:
$- 3 x + 4 y = - 11$

$4 y = - 11 + 3 x$

$4 y = - 11 + 3 \times 5$

$4 y = - 11 + 15$

$4 y = 4$

$y = \frac{4}{4}$

color(blue)(y=1
