−x < −x+7x−14 ; −x < 6x−14 ; -7x < -14 (dividing by a negative reverses the inequality!) ; x > 2
CHECK! : If x = 4 (>2): −4 < −4 + 7(4−2) ; -4 < -4 + 7(2)

-4 < -4 + 14 ; -4 < 10 Correct!
