Assumption: x and 3 are in radian unit. Amplitude is 1. Period is 2$\pi$.
One full sine wave is from ($-$3, 0) to ($-$3+2$\pi$, 0), with ($-$3+$\pi$, 0) bisecting it..
Zenith is ( $-$3+$\pi$/2, 1).
Nadir is ( $-$3+3$\pi$/2, $-$1). :
y = 1 and y = $-$1 touch the wave at these points, respectively.
