#y = 2x#

Explanation:

There are many ways to do it. But, I am poor at remembering many things.

But I can remember that the form is #y = mx+c#. Is it ??

Now, You say it passes through (0,0) ?

So lets put it in the form, with #y=0# and #x = 0#

So, #0 = m*0+c# ?? Wow, that leaves us with #c=0#.

So the form reduces to #y= mx+0 = mx#

Oh!! You said it passes through (-1,-2) as well ?
Great, so #y = -2# and #x= -1#

So we have #-2 = m* (-1) # That means #m =2#

Good, so #y = 2x#.
