As the quadratic function has #0# and #-5# as #x#-intercepts, it is of the form

#y=a(x-0)(x-(-5))# or #y=ax(x+5)#

As it passes through #(-3,18)#, we have

#18=axx(-3)(-3+5)#

or #18=-6a# i.e. #a=-3#

and quadratic function is
