Coal is a fuel used in factories,power plants etc.
Explanation:
When coal is burned we get carbon di oxide and some sulfur di oxide +Ash.
Carbon di oxide is a green house gas which increases the global warming...Green house gases allow the sun light to enter through atmos[here but not allow the reflected infra red rays to escape to space..thus trapping heat in the air.
Sulfur di oxide creates acid rain.
