The interaction of electricity and magnetism is the electromagnetic force. Magnets can be used to induce electrical currents and electricity can be used to induce magnetic fields.

Explanation:

Specifically in electrical generators, moving magnets through electrical conductors (wires) induces an electric current, or electricity. Most of our electrical power is generated in this way. See also: http://science.howstuffworks.com/electricity3.htm for detailed description and animation.
