How does one know a rational function say : 3/x2, specifically x2, how do you if it's positive or negative? (specifically x2)
I'm basically trying to figure out the positive and negative intervals as well as when it's decreasing and increasing, which i already know how, however, this idea has always been bothering me in math class, is there really no way of finding out?
