The Cosmic Background radiation provides evidence of the Big Bang Theory.

Explanation:

The cosmic background radiation does not prove the Big Bang Theory. However the Cosmic Background Radiation does provide evidence for the theory.

The theory of the Big Bang would predict that the explosion of the Big Bang would create radiation somewhat uniformly through out the universe. The accidental discovery of the Back Ground Radiation confirmed that prediction.

Good theories make good predictions. The fact that the Big Bang predicted the existence of the Back Ground Radiation before it was discovered is evidence that the Big Bang Theory is a good theory.
