We get heat and light from Sun.

Explanation:

With out Sun earth's temperature will drop to minus 270 degree c.
No liquid water, No life.
Plants produce food trough a process known as photosynthesis
With out sun light no plants. , No food....Plants are also making oxygen by breathing carbon di oxide..With out oxygen we can not survive.
