Water and sunshine (temperature) are limiting factors for green plants and agriculture.
Explanation:
Water is one needed substance to weather rocks, to support plant growth, to produce food or artifical materials. It is needed by plants, animals and other creatures especially when it is hot. It is a superior solute.
Therefore, plant life is rich in water rich areas. Rock cycle (weathering) is not an issue in such places. These are some simple examples. Shortly, Water is life.
