Biochemistry is a branch of organic chemistry....
Explanation:
Organic chemistry deals with the compounds that has carbon , hydrogen. oxygen and sometimes nitrogen, sulfur etc. Organic chemistry describes Alkanes, Alkenes, Alkynes, Alcohols, Fatty acids, Amino acids, Polymers and many other carbon based materials.
And biochemistry deals with bio molecules such as carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, DNA, RNA etc. Bio molecules must have carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen atoms. Carbohydrates have glucose and many other sugars which are organic compounds. Proteins are polymers of amino acids and amino acid is an organic compound.
So, biochemistry is a small but important part of organic chemistry.
