In humans, the heart is divided into four chambers.
Explanation:
The human heart has two receiving chambers - the two upper atria ( singular : atrium ) and the two discharging chambers - the two lower ventricles.
The atria open into the ventricles via the atrioventricular valves.
The right atrium and right ventricle are referred as right heart. Similarly the left heart corresponds to the left atrium and left ventricle together.
