I know the answer is approximately 1.209 but I don't know how to get it.

#101.3 kPa# means #1 atm# pressure,at which latent heat required for conversion of ice to water at #0# degree is #79.7# calorie/gm

Suppose #m gm# of ice can be melted using #0.400 kJ# or, #0.400*10^3/4.184# calorie of heat,

so,we can write, #m*79.7=0.400*10^3/4.184#

so, #m = 1.1995 gm# i.e about #1.200 gm#
