Use any two points.

The reason why you can use any 2 points of your choice is that, a line has only one slope , and so all points are increasing or decreasing in the same regular manner.

Slope #= (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)#

where #(x_1,y_1)# is one point that is found on the line, and #(x_2,y_2)# is any other point lying on that same line.h
