Few things here
1. Reflection across x-axis due to that negative sign outside the radical
2. Horizontal shrink or compression by a scale factor of #1/2# and here's how. The expression inside the radical would need to be factored as it has a GCF of 2. So therefore:
#-root(2)(2(x+2))#

  1. Now that the inside expression has been factored, you can also see the horizontal shift or translation to the left by 2.

  2. Now apply these transformations to the key points of the square root parent function #y=root(2)(x)#
