Do you know of any emperors who would be considered to be a good or bad leader? List a few examples and explain how they were a good or bad leader.

Since I am reading about the Roman emperor, Claudius, I was wondering if everyone would be able to chip in their input Don't worry there aren't any wrong or right answers.

I am listing their names with their characteristics below-



  1. Abraham Lincoln- He was the 16th president of US. He helped the Country through the Civil war,which was the one of the greatest problems of the Americans. He is considered to be one of the greatest president in United states.

  2. Napoleon- He was a military and also a political leader of France. He also got influenced in the European politics in the 19th century. He dominated continental Europe through superior military tactics and intelligence.

  3. Queen Elizabeth 1- She had many nick names like Virgin Queen. She ruled England and Ireland from 1558 till her death. She became the first female to rule such countries for long time without depending on a male heir.

  4. Joseph 2- He was the most unselfish ruler of the history. He ruled the Holy Roman empire from 1765 to 1790. He truly wanted to do the best for his people and even abolished slavery.

  5. Adolf Hitler- He was a German politician and was the leader of the Nazi party. He supported the people of Germany during their bad times,i.e. during the World war 2. He was a dictator but his words moved the people. He indeed was a great ruler.


  1. Adolf Hitler- He was a great leader but there could be no doubt to consider him as the evilest among them all. He was like a dictator, he dictated in Nazi of Germany. He also started the World war 2, he was also the most hated man of the history. Hitler and his Nazi regime were also responsible of the death of 19.3 million civilians and prisoners of war.

  2. Joseph Stalin- He was the ruler of the country Ukraine. He managed to make the whole country starve.He also made many of his closest friends and relatives executed. He almost made 60 million people to die.

  3. George W. Bush- He was elected as the 43rd president of US, his policies caused the Great Recession. He also let the economy of the country fall as there was lack of jobs and high death rates. Bush was rated as one of the nation’s five worst presidents and Bush one among the top eight worst presidents.

  4. Idi Amin Dada- He was the president of Uganda from 1971 to 1979. His rule was characterized by human rights abuses, political repression, ethnic persecution, extra judicial killings and the expulsion of Indians from Uganda. He have approximately killed people from 80,000 to 500,000.

  5. Genghis Khan- He was the founder of the mongol empire.
    He was a ruler and a warrior.He started the Mongol invasions that resulted in the conquest of most of Eurasia.
