Explanation:

Do to this, we'll use a method known as substitution. Basically, (in this case) whenever we see the letter p or q, we'll replace it with something else.

p+q-(-0.7)=(0.75)+(-1.6)-(-0.7)
=0.75-1.6+0.7
=-0.15
