Both Sun and Moon exert a strong attractive force on the Earth surface , which leads to the increase in the level of the tide .
But if the moon disappears then there shall be no such attractive force in the night, hence the sea will become still and silent during night time .
Lunar force of attraction will end , if moon disappears .
