Clearly,the object is moving with constant acceleration of #1ms^-2#, so to find distance(#s#) covered in given time(#t#),by using the equation, #s= ut + 1/2 a t^2# (considering for straight line motion,so that distance covered = displacement)

Here,the object started from rest, so #u=0#

And, given #a=1 m/s^2#

So,after #2 s# distance covered is #1/2×1×(2)^2=2 m#

And,distance covered after #3s# is # 1/2×1×(3)^2 = 9/2 m#
