Yes. They are coping mechanisms for insecurities (see related posts).

Explanation:

Some anti-social behaviors may be developed by reinforcement of spontaneous actions as opposed to specific behavioral modeling. But, all such mechanisms are learned traits – humans are “naturally” gregarious, social creatures. That is why these undesirable behaviors are called anti-social.
