Many of the clotting factors and proteins are made in the liver.
Liver cells or hepatocytes manufacture proteins necessary for clotting factors and maintenance of circulation system fluid.

Explanation:

Apart from its well-known detoxification of alcohol and drugs from the blood, the liver produces specialized proteins that protect the body from loosing blood due to intrusive wounds or trauma.

While most cells can produce proteins, the specialized clotting factors produced in the liver work one after the other to build up fibrin to close wounds and stop leaking blood.
