12x+21 and then divide 12 by 21 on both sides, and the answer is 1.75

Explanation:

You take the exterior number and multiply it with the numbers that are inside
1- first i multiplyed 3 with 4 and i got 12 and always remmeber its important to take the "x" down as well, then i did the same thing with 7 and i got 21, last step is to divide the number that is with the x in both sides and then calculate it as well :)

#12x+21#

Explanation:

Use the distributive law to multiply the #3# outside the bracket by each of the terms inside the bracket.

#color(blue)(3)(4x+7) = " "color(blue)(3)xx4x " + "color(blue)(3)xx7#

#=12x+21#
