SO I am lost. There's a question that asks why a campfire dies down why oxygen fanning it helps, but in terms of stoichiometry. How do you explain this phenomena stoichiometrically aaa?

What do you have feed to your campfire to keep it burning...?

Explanation:

Well, you have to keep adding fuel to the fire. And these days, slow burning stoves are becoming quite common in suburban homes...of course 100 years ago, a house would have a supply of wood logs, collected in the summer, and stored in the wood-shed for seasoning, to last the winter months...

In lder times, wood was #"seasoned"#, i.e. stored to reduce water content, before throwing on the hearth...the logs on the picture are stored on the (damp) earth. Ideally, they should be elevated on a rack....
