(a) `AB+BC=AC`

Explanation:

(a) `AB+BC=AC` means `B` point lies on line joining `AC`. Hence the three points are collinear and hence area of triangle formed by them is zero.

In case (d) they form a right angled triangle and hence area is non-zero.

(b) and (c) are not dimensionally correct as in case of (b) product of `AB` and`AC` should represent area and cannot be double of `AC`

and in case of (c), `(AB)/(AC)` is a ratio and cannot be equal to `BC`.
