The diameter of each wheel of a bicycle is 26 inches, and the wheel rotates 5 times every 2 seconds. What is the rule for the function, *m*, that relates the number of minutes that the bicycle travels to the number of **miles** traveled, *d*?

Given that the diameter of each wheel of a bicycle is 26 inches. So the cycle travels #pi*26# inches in one rotation of each wheel.
Again in 2 sec it rotates 5 times. So in 2 sec it travels #pi*26*5# inches.

Hence in one minute or 60sec it travels #(pi*26*5)/2*60# inches.

So in 'm' minutes it travels #(mpi*26*5)/2*60# inches

#=(mpi*26*5)/2*60*1/(12*3*1760)# miles

#=(mpi*65)*1/(6*176)# miles

By the problem

#(mpi*65)*1/(6*176)=d#

#=>m=(1056 d)/(65pi)#
