OK, we have the data (numbers) just need the technique.

Speed, s = distance, d / time, t

We can use a variety of units (ways to measure these) but so long as we quote the answer giving the units we used, we’re ok.

So #s = d/t#

#s = (584 000 000)/365#

Next to convert it to mph we need to figure out how many hours in a day and then divide the answer we got by that number.
