The length is 38 meters and the width is 16 meters.

Explanation:

The perimeter of a rectangle, the shape of a basketball court, is
#l + w + l + w = P#
or
#2(l + w)= P#

plug in x for the width
w = x
the length is 6 more than two times the width
l = 2x + 6
P = 108 meters

#2(2x+6+x) = P#
#2(3x + 6) = 108#
#6x + 12 = 108#
#6x = 96#
#x = 16# the width is 16 meters

#l = 2x+6#
#l = 2(16) + 6#
#l = 32 + 6 #
#l = 38# the length is 38 meters
