Length of other two sides #color(red)((l) is 8 cm)# each

Explanation:

Perimeter (p) of a rectangle is #2 ( l + b)# where l is the length and b is the breadth.
As rectangle is having a pair of longer sides (l) and a pair of shorter ones (b).

Given Perimeter (p) as 24 cm and breadth (b) 4 cm

#p = 2(l + b) = 2l + 2 b#

#24 = 2l + (2*4)#

#2l = 24 - 8 = 16#

#l = 16 / 2 = 8 cm#

Length of other two sides (l) is 8 cm each
