The height is $3 \sqrt{3}$ cm long.
The height of an equilateral triangle with side $a$ equals to:
$h = \frac{a \sqrt{3}}{2}$
Here it is $h = \frac{6 \sqrt{3}}{2} = 3 \sqrt{3}$
