What archetype is Zeus?
Primarily, the "Mentor" archetype.
In literature, an archetype is a typical character, an action, or a situation that seems to represent universal patterns of human nature.
Of the most common character archetypes, Zeus fits most often into the Mentor or Ruler role, although there are times at which he may also seem to be the villain.
Note that the references already indicate the differences in both the numbers of archetypes and their definitions. If this is for a class study, be SURE to reference your particular course textbook for the specific archetypes defined.
