What are meteors? When were they formed?

1 Answer

Answer:

Most meteors are debris left over from comets when they visit the solar system. Few may come also from collision of asteroids.

Explanation:

Comets are mostly Ice and dust, small rock particles. When they come near Sun the ice melts and the debris orbit sun. The comet goes back to oort's cloud or Kuiper belt but the debris orbit Sun. When earth passes through this we get lot of meteors we call them meteor shower.
